1982 Jeep Cj8 Scrambler.  Only 27,000 of these ever made in the 5 year production run.

This Jeep has 3 tops. The full and half hard tops, and a full soft top.  3 sets of doors. Full Soft and hard and half with soft upper.

The engine has a serious knock.  The sale includes a 1990 Cherokee that has the 4.0 FI that can be traded for an increase in horse power and the ease of the fuel injection over carburetor.  

Inclused are 2 sets of wheels and tires.  4 10x15 Mag with old 33's.  5 Steel 8x15 with decent truck tires.  

This is not a show Jeep but it has been a very fun and functional trail runner and we have greatly enjoyed it.

The Jeep has been upgraded to include an on board air system, has one peice rear axles and a 2 inch spring lift.  Also has a newer heater core and the blower fan was upgraded to the larger chevy fan.  

The seats are currently from a Chevy S10 and are a 60/40 split with center seat.  I still have the original Jeep seats.  There is a no fold middle seat and We have added a fold and tumble seat from a Suzuki Sidekick in the very back.

The tranny is the Tourque Flight 999 and has never given me any trouble.  The tourqe convertor was replaced about 15,000 miles ago.  Speaking with the folks at advanced adapters, I have been told that this tranny can easily handle a Chevy 350.  

Finacial needs are driving this sale but if those can be cleared in other ways i will keep this Jeep.

If you are familiar with the CJ8, you know that this is a good price for it, particularly with the full hard top. A hard top recently sold for $1000.  The half doors alone are woth $400.
